ADVENTURE BIKE PRACTICE DAYS

Our Adventure Bike Practice Days are aimed at all ability levels and are run year-round (ground conditions permitting).

PRACTICE YOUR ADVENTURE BIKE SKILLS

On our Adventure Bike Practice Days we limit places to a maximum of 40 riders, enabling novice riders to practice technique and build confidence in a friendly, no-pressure environment, whilst permitting more experienced riders plenty of space to stretch their skill level! Even if you’ve never ridden your Adventure bike off-road before we can cater for you, with experienced staff on hand to advise, supervise and encourage you. We believe in giving participants the freedom to ride to their individual limits and get the most out of their day.

Separate to the practice lap, we provide skill-test sections where riders can drill aspects of their big-bike technique to improve proficiency, all under friendly and knowledgeable supervision.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • A sociable, relaxed day where you ride as little or as much as you like!  Combine your practice session with breakfast at the nearby Freestyle Café and a browse around the Freestyle Bikes store.
  • Experienced, enthusiastic staff on hand to give advice, help you out if you get stuck, and ensure safe and considerate riding.
  • A manageable, marked-out lap designed for all ability levels, whether you’re a regular rider or just starting your new hobby.
  • Interesting skill-tests where you can practice the basic disciplines of Adventure riding and gain confidence under supervision.

LOCATION

All Practice Days take place on private land in East Sussex (ground conditions permitting).

START TIME

The land opens at 9.00am, riding commences at 10.00am, and the land closes at 4.00pm latest.

SIGN ON

All riders are required to sign-on upon arrival and complete a disclaimer.

LICENSE?

You do not need a motorcycle licence to participate, as you will not be riding on public roads.

SAFETY

Riding marshals circulate the track throughout the day to provide assistance, and ensure safe and considerate riding.

BOOKING

Upfront booking is required to secure your space on the Practice Day, as spaces are limited and demand is high.

THE RULES

These sessions are for over-18s only, unless the attendance of an under-18 has been agreed with the organisers.

Noise restrictions apply on the land we use. These sessions are only for Adventure bikes with standard exhausts. If you’re unsure whether your bike is suitable, please email us to ask. Enduro and motocross bikes are not permitted on an Adventure bike day.

If you have made a booking and are subsequently unable to attend, we will roll your booking on to the next Practice Day date. If you cannot make this date either, we will refund your money. To inform us that you cannot make a Practice Day on which you are currently booked, please email us.

We need more than 48 hours’ notice of your cancellation in order to re-advertise your place. Cancellation less than 48 hours before an event means you will lose your payment.

Please DO NOT bring dogs with you.
